LIHEAP (Heating Assistance Program): Now Accepting Applications!

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), also known as the ‘Heating Assistance Program’,  aims to help keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with heating and energy costs. This program has an income-based qualification criteria. All community members may apply.

The Yakutat Tlingit Tribe Human Services & Education – YTT 477 Department is now accepting applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Please contact Lindsey Hershey, YTT 477 Case Manager at (907) 784-3124 or Rachel Fraker, YTT Intake Technician at (907) 784-3635 to apply.

Please note that applications can take up to 30 days to process, so we are asking that you prepare all the required documents and call the office to get your applications processed early.
