The YTT Human Services and Education Department is hosting a Youth Ravenstail Weaving Class, instructed by Marry Knutsen, from July 13-17, 2020, which will take place at the YTT Art Room in the Elementary School building

This class is for youth ages 11-18.

This Youth Ravenstail Weaving Class is the first of several classes that is part of the Summer Youth Art Classes program. 

On June 30, 2020, the Yakutat Tlingit Tribe posted a request for proposal from local artists for Youth Art Classes on their Facebook page. 

The Summer Youth Art Classes will take place between July 15th to August 29th, 2020, and will include classes such as skin sewing, beading, octopus bag making, regalia making, weaving, painting, formline, jewelry making, carving, drumming, and metalwork.
