shellfish toxin results June 9, 2020

The latest shellfish toxin test for areas in Southeast Alaska puts an advisory in place for butter clams at Ankau. Please see attached report below. All of the other species tested below the FDA Action Level of 80 µg/100 g.

Consuming shellfish above the action level may result in an increased risk of paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP).
